Mountain Research performs the majority of our analyses in-house which allows us to maintain and manage quality control, turnaround time and costs. We have certifications for sample analysis for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia. At Mountain Research, we are capable of analyzing drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, groundwater, soil and sludges, solid waste, hazardous waste and air. Mountain Research's mission is to provide quality analytical data in a timely and cost effective manner to the environmental community.
Each analyses performed undergoes a rigid Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedure. Deviations are duly recorded and noted in client reports. Corrective Action procedures are in place for any out-of-control data. Yearly Performance Test (PT) studies are done for each certified testing parameter. Analysts are also required to show yearly continued demonstrations of capability for each test in their department.
Within Mountain Research's laboratories, we have a wide variety of equipment used for analysis including: Gas Chromatography (GC); Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectroscopy (GC/MS) systems; Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometeter (ICP-OES); Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption (GFAA); Flow Injection Mercury System; and an AQ2-Discrete Analyzer.
Mountain Research offers sample pickup services, composite and grab sampling, sampling kits, PWS reporting and completion of Form 19, 50, U, 26R and 14R as well as, NPDES permits.
Mountain Research will supply bottles, coolers, chains of custody at no additional charge. RUSH analysis and data interpretation is available upon request.
Mountain Research provides a wide variety of environmental and engineering services in-house, including owning our own drill rigs and environmental laboratories supported by our team of professional geologists, professional engineers, environmental scientists and chemists.
